NPDC has reviewed Puke Ariki operations following the Government’s announcement on the COVID-19 alert level, all Puke Ariki and Community Library facilities are closed until further notice.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience but we know our customers will understand this is an unprecedented situation and safety comes first.

During this time, we invite you to experience Puke Ariki from home and discover our digital library collections and the museum’s online resources.

Our Store is filled to the brim with fun and unusual toys, books, and gifts and homewares and we have ranges that are unique to the Store and inspired by our exhibitions.

Our friendly staff will help to find the perfect gift or souvenir for every one and every budget and we also offer free gift wrapping service with every purchase.

The Museum Store also sells postage stamps and we can arrange to send your purchases anywhere in the world.

The Puke Ariki Store is open during general museum hours and is located on the ground floor and is also home to the i-SITE.

Current Friends of Puke Ariki receive 10% discount on purchases.
