Puke Ariki Trust Scholarship

The Puke Ariki Trust Scholarship was established in 2013. It supports the studies of a postgraduate student researching Taranaki's social history. 

The scholarship is awarded annually and provides up to $5,000 to a student studying full time at postgraduate level at a New Zealand university.

George Mason Charitable Trust Scholarships

The George Mason Charitable Trust Scholarships were established in 2002 by New Plymouth businessman and entrepreneur Dr George Mason.

The scholarships are awarded to postgraduate students who are researching an aspect of Taranaki's natural history. 

They consist of a maximum of $7,500 for PhD research and $5,000 for Masters or honours level research.

2020 Applications

Applications  are now open for the 2020 year.
