G-TARanaki International Guitar Festival
July 14 to July 19 2008

G-TARanaki is New Zealand's first international guitar festival, featuring 25 events over 5 days. G-TARanaki is a celebration of all things guitar, and will cover all types of music, from jazz to baroque to rock.


Puke Ariki is proud to showcase an exhibition of several rare guitars during the G-TARanaki Festival and to host several of the G-TARanaki events.

Kei Ngamotu te whare nei, e rua ōna wāhanga, nā tōna nui me te noho ki runga tētehi pukeiti ka kitea whānuitia. Ka tū te whare ki runga i tētehi pā tawhito, pā tuturu nō mua, ko Te Puke o ngā Ariki tērā.

 

He momo whare hou tēnei ki roto o Aotearoa, tērā pea ki roto i te ao whānui. Mā te mātauranga e honohono te whare pukapuka, te whare pupuri taonga, me te whare manuhiri.

 

Ka tāpirihia ngā whare e rua, e tētahi piritī, pērā i te hononga o tēnei ipurangi ki ngā rauemi katoa e wātea ana ki te tangata. Mā tēnei momo hangarau, te rorohiko me te ipurangi, ka taea a Taranaki te hono ki te ao whānui, te ao whānui ki a Taranaki hoki.

 

Ahakoa te pakeke o te tangata, te iwi, he aha rānei he pai katoa tēnei huarahi ki te rapu mōhiotanga.  Kei Puke Ariki ngā pakiwaitara me ngā korero aha noa atu hei whakanui i te hunga e noho nei ki roto o Taranaki.
