Explore the outer reaches of space with this highly interactive and entertaining exhibition at Puke Ariki. Space is a journey into the amazing world of space exploration. It's an exciting exhibition that the whole family will enjoy.
In this exhibition you can experience what it's like out there in space. You can land a space shuttle flight simulator, fire a rocket and even find out how long it would take you to run to the Moon, at your top speed!
There are other great interactives like the Virtual Biosphere, Remote Mars Rover, Video Wall and much more. The exhibition has a space station feel and demonstrates the technology of space flight with a series of high-energy, interactive exhibits. You will also be guided through basic astronomical concepts.
There is a lot more to discover, so take your time to explore! It's completely free so prepare to take off!
