Projects

A number of projects, workshops and events have taken place under the 60 Springs umbrella, either through involvement with the schools programme or as stand-alone programmes developed by Puke Ariki and its many community partner organisations. These projects have sought to engage the wider community in thinking about innovative solutions towards a sustainable Taranaki.

These projects have extended students' work beyond the current curriculum requirements and enabled young people to explore their capabilities beyond what might usually be expected.  60 Springs has also put Taranaki’s young people in touch with experts from many different fields allowing them to share knowledge and experiences. In many instances it has expanded their thinking to opportunities and futures that they maybe hadn’t previously considered, or got them one step further in their chosen direction.
