Ruth’s role at Puke Ariki is to preserve the pictorial heritage collections for future generations in Taranaki, provide information to customers on curatorial matters and on the pictorial heritage collections currently held by Puke Ariki and assist with the acquisition of items which will enhance the Puke Ariki pictorial collections.
Andrew Moffat – Curator Social History

Andrew is responsible for curating and preserving the Social History heritage collection. He is responsible for new acquisitions to the collection and for providing access to a wide variety of collection objects including domestic and industrial objects, militaria, textiles, decorative arts and natural history specimens.
Lucy Macfarlane – Curator Archives

Lucy curates the archival collection of Puke Ariki. The collection includes personal papers, voluntary group archives, business archives, architectural plans, maps and Taranaki regional newspapers.
Glen Skipper – Poutiaki Taonga

Glenn is responsible for caring for and developing the taonga Māori collection. He also develops relationships with iwi/hapū/whānau in order to reconnect them with their taonga.

Providing visitors with a warm welcome, information about events and services within Puke Ariki and the region in general, Karen is also in charge of the team at i-Site.

Dale manages and develops library, research, education and community outreach services for Puke Ariki and community libraries across New Plymouth District.
Jane Waite – Team Leader Library Services

Jane co-ordinates library and customer services in Puke Ariki, Oakura Community Library, the Mobile Library service and the Prison Service. She also ensures that information service delivery meets standards set by Puke Ariki and National and Public library standards.
Judy Thompson – Team Leader Community Library Services

Judy co-ordinates the Bell Block, Inglewood and Waitara Community Library and Service Centres, along with Urenui Library.
Sylvia Lake – Team Leader Technical Services

Sylvia is responsible for the co-ordination of purchasing, cataloguing and processing the new library acquisitions for Puke Ariki.
Gary Bastin – Team Leader Taranaki Research Centre

Gary is in charge of the management of the Taranaki Research Centre on a day-to-day basis.

Developing, planning and delivering exhibitions and displays at Puke Ariki is Gerard’s responsibility, along with the management of staff, health and safety and facilities in the North Wing.
