Subtitled "Sustainable Urban Development, Building and Architecture in New Zealand" this book gives an overview of sustainable principles of architecture both now and in the future. Various parameters are covered for the design of the NZ house using passive solar and other means of energy saving devices to provide a comfortable but economically viable design. Building Systems are covered and examples of energy are explained.
The section on zero waste is helpful and in particular the planning and design of commercial and public buildings to eliminate waste.
