This is a beautiful and comprehensive book that takes you on a botanical discovery tour of a regenerating New Zealand forest. Superb photography brings to life the native and exotic flora in the conservation forest at Pukeiti, featuring around 275 species. It does not include the rhododendron collection. Each species is illustrated with a combination of scanned herbarium samples and photographs , many showing the smaller details of identification of each species.
Through her description of the species she has recorded we are reminded of the diversity and beauty of the plants to be found.
